Default "Ramping" into cuts, what are some common values?

So the "PRS Wiggle" thread got me thinking: we've got Insignia, and it makes ramping into cuts when plunging easy. Haven't really had to use it yet (our bits plunge fine) but I'm thinking it would be a good idea to make things easier on the router bearings and on the bits. So. Anyone out there know some common decent values for ramping into cuts? We cut mostly plywood if that matters.
